Trend Micro has patched vulnerabilities in ServerProtect for Microsoft Windows, NetApp and EMC. It is not the first time when a big security vendor has to pacth it’s own products. The vulnerabilities were remotely exploitable and this is how the exploit could have been succesfuly launched.

Significant number of TomTom GO 910 SatNav devices are infected with a virus, the manufacturer admits. A certain number of TomTom GO 910’s, produced between September and November 2006, may be infected with a virus. The virus is considered as low risk and can be cleaned safely with antivirus scanning software. Suitable actions have been taken to make sure this is prevented from happening again in the future.
