IT security vendor, Sophos, has presented a new version of Sophos Anti-Virus which supports the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, including the much debated Patchguard kernel locker.
Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista, version 6.5 includes a full service security system including protection against viruses, spyware, adware and potentially unwanted applications.
The Sophos service will also consist of its own central management console, automatic scanning and automatic updates. Sophos clients using the existing product for Windows 2000/XP/2003, version 6.0 will be updated to support Vista automatically, without any user intervention.
