Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces the successful OESISOK certification of its new personal products Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 by OPSWAT. Both products attained OESISOK certification in the Antivirus, Antispyware and Antiphishing categories, with the integrated Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 solution also gaining a certificate in the Personal Firewall category.
The inclusion of the Kaspersky Lab products in OESISOK’s list of antivirus solutions attests to the interoperability of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 with Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems.
The OESISOK certification program was also successfully completed by Kaspersky Lab’s corporate products for workstations and servers in February 2008, confirming the interoperability of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition with the Windows Server 2003 OS. The complete compatibility and reliable operation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstation with Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista was also confirmed.
OESISOK™ is an open industry-wide certification program that verifies the interoperability of endpoint security applications with products from market-leading technology vendors such as Cisco, Juniper Microsoft and F5. The OESISOK certification program is comprised of several stages of comprehensive testing, including an installation test a rogue application test that checks for potentially malicious code and system interoperability, as well as digital signature verification.
