Rising (www.rising-us.com), an antivirus and network security company, has announced the release of their well anticipated 2008 Antivirus product lines. The enhancements include: an improved Virtual Machine Unpacking Engine (VUE); A 3 tier Active Defence Strategy; as well our next generation Smart update.

"Our client base grew exponentially last year, sitting at around 120 million users globally," says Jason Porter, Director of Sales and Operations for Rising North America.

"We want our clients to know that they are getting the best, most secure product out there and that we're committed to delivering the same exceptional products they're used to receiving from us. Launching Rising 2008 was important step for us so we could continue to deliver the highest quality to our customers."

Accompanying the new 2008 version of Rising Antivirus, there are some remarkable features such as "Safe Account", which protects your Internet accounts and passwords from malicious spyware, its 64bit support, and our popular "U-disk" protection.

What about the competition?

"Competition? I've spent the countless hours discussing the topic here at Rising. Who's our competition? Some company with a stethoscope on their box?" Mr Porter adds. "I know that's what people yearn, Google vs. Yahoo, Dell vs. Gateway, Blackberry vs, well everyone. Our competition isn't a company, they're virus developers. We're only trying to do our part."

"As we have always done, our 2008 product is offered in a trial format," Mr. Porter adds. "This gives or current clients the opportunity to see the addition to their existing security, as well giving prospective clients an idea of why our security software sits on over 120 million computers."
