Although some time ago Google announced that, unfortunately, China was one of the greatest hosting platform for malicious Web sites, some good news were (still) provided by China’s Internet engine company Baidu.com Inc.There is Free Chinese Online Antivirus !

The specific market will be provided with free services from an on-line anti-virus product Baidu Security Center. The costumers were announced that this is a premiere for China.

Because the users seldom don’t feel secure when navigating to the Internet, Baidu’s experts felt necessary to offer them enough support in the battle against the viruses or worms. The result of the specialist’s work should give an extra-safety feeling to every cybernaut.

At http://an.baidu.com, costumers can scan and after that kill the discovered viruses. They can also enjoy this service for free, without a frequency or time boundary.

Yet, Baidu shows prudence when stepping into the Internet security service market. In this purpose it uses the assistance on technical issues of  Kingsoft Corporation Limited, known to be a domestic professional anti-virus service provider.

A representative person from Baidu straightened the fact that because Netizens and the Internet industry are plagued by indulged computer virus and spywares, something must be done. The statistics aren’t good: each year, in China, 50 million computers are attacked by malware.
