Windows Security : How to remove the security settings of PDF documents.

Windows Security

The latest version 4.0 of pdf-Recover Professional can remove the main PDF password and all restrictions in the document, no matter if it is encrypted by 40 bit RC4, 128 bit RC4 or 128 bit AES of the latest Adobe 8 generation.

PDF documents have a permanent password protection, which prevents modifications of documents or the removal of text. This can be very counterproductive, when additions or updates are to be carried out and the author does not remember the document password.

There is no way to access the contents without the correct password - the entire document has to be reconstructed or text contents must be copied manually. pdf-Recover Professional is avoiding this restriction, as it removes the password and the set restrictions at the touch of a button. Thus the PDF becomes unrestrictedly utilisable again.

The pdf-Recover Professional software of the German developer UNIVERSE Software GmbH, Solingen, is offering everyone, who frequently has to generate, receive or process PDF files, an indispensable help for the unrestricted use of the documents, because pdf-Recover Professional removes the main password of PDF files. So the contents can be edited and completed or text can be copied again. Possibly the document can also be printed again or input fields can be adjusted.

In the latest version 4.0 of pdf-Recover Professional, one single click does not only remove the main password, but at the same time also all restrictions in the document, no matter if it is encrypted by 40 bit RC4, 128 bit RC4 or 128 bit AES of the latest Adobe 8 generation. As a result, a 1:1 copy of the PDF source document without any security settings is produced. All set restrictions are removed automatically by pdf-Recover Professional.

In addition, the software provides the possibility to re-encrypt decrypted files immediately and with one´s own passwords.
As a completion, personal titles, search keys and some information about the author can be added. There is also the possibility to define all presentation characteristics of the document by pdf-Recover Professional. These characteristics are so extensive that PDF files in Adobe Reader can be used almost like a PowerPoint presentation, if desired. For this purpose, the presentation size can be adjusted, toolbars and menu bars of the Reader can be displayed or hidden, the display mode can be defined or the position on the screen can be adjusted.

A free test version is available for download at www.pdf-office.com. pdf-Recover Professional is compatible with Win 9x and later Windows versions, Mac OSX and Linux.
